T minus 2 days until the Woolly Global Fat Bike Day ride in the Sand Barrens

While it still doesn’t look like great “typical” fat bike weather with sweet groomed single track, it does look like a fantastic day for adventure in the Governor Knowles State Forest.  Expect clear skies, warm sun, and air temps right around freezing at 10 am when we start.

As a final reminder, we are meeting to RIDE at 10am from the Wolf Creek Bar (2387 River Rd, St Croix Falls, WI 54024) this Saturday, December 2nd.

Ride whatever bike you want, but the fatter the tire the better!

We will have two no drop groups.  A faster group and a more casual group.  Both are going to have a ton of fun.

Afterwards, grab a bite to eat and a recovery beverage at Wolf Creek Bar.  Arron warned them the hangry biker gang would be descending on them around noon.

ps. A friendly reminder that the Woolly single track remains CLOSED.  I know it is nice out, but the freeze thaw cycle really does a number on the trails as far as the surface firmness.  It looks like next week we will hopefully get back to frozen ground conditions.  Until then… sorry.
