Wednesday Night Fat Bike Ride
Let’s keep the fat bikes rolling this week. Wednesday night at 6pm, a group will roll from the Woolly Trailhead. Expect to find Erik there for sure and maybe a few of the other regular club members. Last week there were seven riders, up from five the week before. Maybe we can hit ten this week?
Safety Reminder
While we are talking about riding at night, this is a good time to remind folks that the Gandy Dancer is a motorized trail during frozen ground conditions. That means that right now you may encounter ATVs or potentially snowmobiles (technically currently still closed for snowmobiles, but we are getting snow soon right??). So in addition to headlights it is strongly encouraged that you have a taillight as well. Heck, a little reflective apparel wouldn’t hurt either.
Just a reminder to pay attention to your surroundings, make yourself visible, and be cautious especially when entering the Gandy.
