Just a heads up to all the fat bikers, we aren’t the only winter sports folks excited about the new snow. As of noon on Thursday Feb 7, the Gandy Dancer is open to snowmobiles.
While the Woolly Bike Club worked hard this summer so that we do not ride on the Gandy trail anymore, there are still a few locations where we cross it and caution is highly advised.
Specifically please be extremely vigilant when going from Riegal Park to Wissahickon North, when crossing Maple Drive on the bridge, and when going from Erratic Rock to Big Oak.
